Job summary

Kirk NationaLease in Lyndhurst, VA is seeking an experienced Gas Engine Technician to diagnose, repair, and service gas engines on trucks, trailers, and equipment. This role requires hands-on diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

We offer a competitive $20–$35 per hour, weekly pay, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, a referral bonus, paid training, medical/dental/vision, life insurance, uniforms, a 401(k) with company match, and a day shift (40 hours).

Qualifications

• 1 year experience diagnosing and repairing gas engines (heavy duty experience is a plus!)
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and scan tools
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs
• Personal tools required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to safety and quality workmanship

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on gas-powered vehicles and equipment
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, fuel, ignition, and cooling systems
• Troubleshoot drivability concerns and check engine light issues
• Complete inspections and ensure safety compliance
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
