Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of diesel maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on diesel garbage trucks and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Inspect vehicles to identify safety concerns and ensure DOT compliance.
• Complete accurate maintenance and repair records for all fleet vehicles.
• Communicate repair status and findings with dispatch and operations teams.
• Work with others in a team environment to ensure fleet uptime and superior service.
• Other maintenance tasks as needed.

We're looking for someone who knows their way around a diesel engine, takes pride in their work, and understands that when a garbage truck is down, the whole route feels it. In this role, you'll be hands-on every day, diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and making sure our garbage trucks stay road-ready.
