Responsibilities

The Experienced Diesel Technician is responsible for providing service to our customers while maintaining exceptional customer service. This includes cleaning, maintenance, visual inspection, removal of parts and attachments, installation with proper manuals, report writing, disassembly, assembly, parts reuse evaluation, and reconditioning.

Responsibilities

1. Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
2. Perform general and detailed repairs of trucks, engines, and components.
3. Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
4. Install injectors, pistons, liners, camshafts, cylinder heads, bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, batteries, transmissions, and other parts.
5. Read job orders, observe and listen to vehicle operation to determine malfunctions, and plan work procedures.
6. Examine safety devices and make necessary adjustments.
7. Lubricate moving parts and drive the repaired vehicle to verify conformance.
8. Tag warranty parts and returns appropriately.
9. Attend training and stay updated with factory technical bulletins.
10. Develop and maintain positive customer relationships to enhance satisfaction.
