Job Overview

This position requires extensive knowledge of repairs, overhauls, and maintenance of equipment. The role involves minimal supervision and includes mentorship and training of lower-level mechanics.

Essential Functions
  1. Performs PM Inspections.
  2. Performs Post Trip Inspections.
  3. Replaces tires, clutches, and brakes.
  4. Performs complete engine overhauls.
  5. Completes differential, transmission, and driveline overhauls.
  6. Repairs and replaces bolt-on items.
  7. Inspects and repairs all special equipment.
  8. Performs major electrical repairs.
  9. May work temporarily at field locations maintaining/repairing equipment.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or technical school preferred.
  2. 3+ years of diesel shop experience, including technical schooling.
  3. Experience with equipment or maintenance environments.
  4. Knowledge of basic hand tools for equipment repair.
  5. Experience with equipment systems is a plus.
