Job summary

A leading truck dealership in Louisiana is seeking a Skilled Full-Time Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join their Service Department in Lake Charles. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing routine maintenance on trucks. Ideal candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience and a dependable work ethic. iTA is the largest Navistar truck dealer in Louisiana, covering the New Orleans, Northshore, Slidell, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Lake Charles markets. iTA sells International-branded new trucks, and all makes and models of pre-owned used trucks and trailers, as well as providing outstanding service and parts to meet any fleets' needs.

We are looking for a Skilled Full-Time Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our Service Department in Lake Charles, LA, working a Monday-Friday shift.

Ideal candidate will be:

• Dependable and punctual;
• Have at least one-year experience working as a heavy-duty diesel tech.

Responsibilities

• Able to troubleshoot, inspect, test and diagnose malfunctionings;
• Perform routine PM, such as oil changes, checking/changing batteries, etc.;
• Perform Warranty Maintenance;
• Duties as assigned.
