Benefits and Compensation
- Hourly Pay: $33.25 per hour
- Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE Certification, up to $700
- Quarterly Bonus: Up to $500 each quarter
- Sign-On Bonus: $1,750 at 30 days and $1,750 at 90 days
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends off
- Hours: Second shift, 3:30 PM - 11 PM

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or technical certifications preferred
- Basic tools required
- Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including preventative maintenance, diagnostics, AC and electrical systems
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience preferred
- Valid CDL Class A preferred
- All location-specific certifications required
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience with heavy and medium-duty equipment repairs and diagnostics
- Computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse
This position requires driving Ryder vehicles. To qualify, you must:
- Obtain CDL within 6 months
- Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background check, and motor vehicle check

Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including preventive maintenance and diagnostics
- Conduct mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
- Replace defective components as instructed
- Work independently on most tasks
- Perform facility maintenance duties
- Interact with customers/drivers to identify issues
- Use shop management and electronic documentation systems
- Follow all safety and compliance guidelines
- Mentor Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels
- Access and utilize maintenance documents
- Support operations as needed, including Service Island duties
- Complete training courses as required (e.g., OEM diagnostic software)
