Job summary

GFL Environmental in Arvada, CO is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on company-owned heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment to keep the fleet running.

You will participate in a transparency program with paid interviews, and the role offers a 2pm–12am shift, overtime after 40 hours, and a benefits package including PTO, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, health coverage after 60 days and a 401(k) after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting and repairing diesel refuse trucks.
• Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Starting Pay: $25-$35/hrMore pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Shift: 2pm-12am M-F.
