Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating shop computers and diagnostic equipment.
• Repair Expertise: Ability to inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Specialized Knowledge: Preventive maintenance on Cummins engines, AC and electrical system experience, major repair handling.
• Fleet Management: Oversee and maintain company trucks and trailers.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Tools: Must have your own tools.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and drivers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Compliance: Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
• Additional Skills: Experience in construction or power equipment/diesel engine service, repair, and replacement is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and major repairs on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot system issues using diagnostic programs and techniques.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace components and damaged parts.
• Ensure all work meets federal and state codes/regulations.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
