Job summary
Republic Services in Mobile, AL is hiring a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment under supervision, supporting our drivers and keeping the fleet in optimal condition.

Qualifications
- Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
- ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
- 1-3 years of experience; ability to follow SOPs and troubleshoot common faults.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintains basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repairs.
- Inspects vehicles during preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments; performs oil changes and fluids replenishment.
- Performs light repairs, tire changes, and basic electrical work such as light changes.
- Conducts visual inspections to identify issues and sources of malfunctions; completes company training programs.
