Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment. You will support our fleet with routine servicing and light repairs, using basic vehicle knowledge under supervision of Lead Technician or supervisor.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to follow SOPs while troubleshooting common faults. Training and growth opportunities are available with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains basic knowledge of vehicle’s mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
• Perform oil changes, fluids replenishment, light repairs and basic electrical work after visual inspection.
• Complete applicable company training programs and perform other duties as assigned.
