Job summary

Red Classic is hiring a Diesel Maintenance Technician (B) in Pikeville, KY, to repair and maintain diesel-powered equipment and vehicles, including trailers and material handling gear. The role requires independent work with some mentoring of others and safety-focused practices.

You will work the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 12:00pm-8:30pm) with a starting pay rate of $28.50-$33.00 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential and access to paid training, PTO, holidays, 401(k) with company match, ESPP, and

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical and mechanical diagnostics and repair.
• D.O.T. Brake Inspection certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical certificate.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain customer vehicles and equipment, including trailers and diesel-powered equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues and perform maintenance tasks.
• Maintain parts inventory and report discrepancies.
• Work in the maintenance software to record data and ensure DOT compliance.
• Mentor Vehicle Technicians C as needed.
