Job summary

Green Expert Technology (GreenXT) is seeking a Diesel Lifecycle Engineering Representative to support the US Navy fleet concentration in San Diego, California. You will review engine history, analyze data, and present metrics to improve diesel maintenance strategies.

This role requires 8+ years of Navy diesel experience, DoD clearance, and the ability to work aboard ships and in industrial settings. A strong background in DMS/DRS and SAMM is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of US Navy Engineman, Machinist Mate with diesel background, or OEM service rep.
• Minimum of 4 years of practical experience with Diesel Maintenance Strategy (DMS) and Diesel Readiness System (DRS).
• 4+ years on major US Navy propulsion/power engines (FM opposed piston, Colt 2.5, PA6B, CAT 3608).
• Experience with Shipboard Automated Maintenance Manager (SAMM) and DEPA data analysis.
• US Navy DEI certified or Top Snipe is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review shipboard diesel engine material history for assigned hulls.
• Review monthly Diesel engine combustion analysis messages.
• Evaluate engine operating conditions, logistics, repair issues, and electrical/control matters.
• Attend conferences related to Diesel Maintenance Strategy (DMS).
• Assist with developing and presenting metrics and BAWP.
• Provide deck-plate training to US Navy crews on DMS/DRS.
