Job summary

THOR Solutions, LLC in Norfolk, VA is actively seeking an experienced Diesel Lifecycle Engineering Representative (DLER) to support NSWCPD. The role centers on documenting and scheduling diesel engine maintenance, collecting performance data, and assisting with engine balancing on Navy vessels such as the LPD/LSD classes.

The ideal candidate will hold DEI certification or OEM TS, with seven years maritime diesel propulsion experience, and proficiency with SAMM, DEPA data collection, and MS

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• 7+ years of U.S. Navy Engineman or relevant maritime experience in Navy diesel propulsion and power generating systems.
• DEI certification or OEM Technical Service Representative preferred.
• Experience with SAMM software, DEPA data collection, and engine data analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong written/spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate diesel engine maintenance with ship's maintenance team and regional centers.
• Represent the ISEA at project team meetings, reviews, and inspections.
• Maintain lifecycle maintenance plans for assigned vessels.
• Monitor lifecycle maintenance and engine performance data; support engine balancing/grooming events.
