Job summary
E-Z Bel Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced heavy equipment technician to diagnose and repair trucks, trailers, and fleet machinery. You will perform PMs, inspections, and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel systems using Caterpillar ET, Snap-On, OEM software, and multimeters.
The role requires 3–7 years of hands-on experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently in shop or outdoor environments year-round, with safety protocols
Qualifications
- 3–7 years in heavy equipment and fleet repairs or equivalent technical training.
- Deep knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.
- Ability to read manuals, schematics and technical diagrams.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections; document actions in work orders.
- Troubleshoot electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic issues with OEM tools.
- Install GPS units and electrical components per specs; operate heavy machinery safely.
- Coordinate repairs with foremen, dispatch, and operators.
