Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulic and electrical diagnostic capability.
• Proficiency with repair documentation (CDK experience preferred).
• Welding ability and safe work practices.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Branch Service Manager.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions; hydraulic and electrical experience required.
• Recognize and recommend appropriate repairs to the Service Manager.
• Perform effective welding as needed.
• Create accurate repair estimates within work orders.
• Maintain detailed repair records in CDK Global.
• Communicate with OEM/factory for technical assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are searching for a Diesel Heavy Equipment Technician to join our awesome team!This role will diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer and related construction equipment. If you’re mechanically inclined, hands-on, and ready to build a career with a supportive team, we want to hear from you today!

Compensation & Schedule

• $25–$35/hour (based on experience)
• Production bonuses available
• Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 (for qualified candidates)

Physical Demands
