The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Diesel and Construction Equipment Mechanic Trainee to learn and perform maintenance on a wide range of agency vehicles and heavy equipment. This hands-on program emphasizes diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and safety alongside experienced mentors.

You will complete structured training, gain real-world repair skills, and contribute to dependable transportation for communities across Pennsylvania. Includes full-time schedule and on-site work.

Competenze

• Two years as a Tradesman Helper working in the automotive field.
• Graduation from a post-high school diesel technology curriculum of an accredited trade or technical school.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Active Pennsylvania Class A or B CDL Learner's Permit or License on day one.
• Active Medical Examiner’s Certificate on day one.
• Active Pennsylvania Class 1, Class 4, or Class 7 Inspection Mechanic Certification during probation.
• Pass DOT New Mechanic Training course during probation.
• Active Tank Vehicle Endorsement (N) on first day.
