Qualifications

• Two years as a Tradesman Helper in automotive work or equivalent.
• Graduation from a post-high school diesel technology curriculum of an accredited school.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Repair: Assist with repairing and overhauling cars, trucks, and heavy equipment
• Maintenance Tasks: Participate in preventative maintenance and routine service operations
• Mechanical Diagnostics: Help identify problems using diagnostic tools and learn repair methods
• Inspection Support: Complete safety inspections, road tests, and required documentation
• Safety Practices: Learn safe work habits, hazard awareness, and proper use of protective equipment
• Field Adjustments: Assist with adjustments, repair techniques, and upkeep of equipment records
