Job summary

ProLift Rigging is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on diesel-powered equipment, including cranes and forklifts. You will diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and onboard electronics, coordinating with operators to keep equipment safe and reliable.

The role requires reading electrical/hydraulic schematics, experience with Cummins/CAT engines, and a CDL, with potential for day/night shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in diesel maintenance with troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Cummins and CAT diesel engines.
• CDL is required.
• Able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Willing to work day or night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Pass drug test, fit for duty test and background check.
• Basic computer/Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, booms, electrical and hydraulic systems, brakes, and basic components.
• Work on cranes, forklifts, tractor trailers, and related equipment.
• Communicate effectively with operators and other mechanics; document work performed.
