Job summary

PROLIFT RIGGING in Lincoln, Nebraska seeks a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair diesel-powered equipment such as cranes and forklifts. You will diagnose diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, and work with operators to keep machines safe and ready for operation.

Requirements include 3+ years' diesel maintenance experience, ability to read schematics, current CDL, and willingness to work day and/or night shifts, weekends, or holidays. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years' experience in diesel maintenance with proven troubleshooting skills.
Must work safely in a fast-paced environment - many times under pressure.
Experience with Cummins and CAT diesel engines and systems.
Proven ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Must have current CDL.

Responsibilities

Perform PM and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, booms, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, brakes and other basic components.
Work on hydraulic and conventional cranes, forklifts, tractor trailers and miscellaneous equipment.
Communicate effectively with operators and other mechanics.
