Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Diesel Generator Technician in Pearland, TX. In this full-time role, you will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel power and natural gas generators. You will troubleshoot equipment failures and can work overtime and weekends as needed. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent work experience, along with at least 3 years of experience in the field. Qualifications

• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop.
• Set up and operate equipment at the shop.

Skills

HVAC maintenance and repairs

Ability to perform inspections

Calculating nominal and effective tonnage

What You’ll Do

• You’ll be based out of our Pearland, TX service center
• You’ll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power equipment of various sizes.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop.
• You will either be on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop.

Skills and Experience

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent work history
• 3+ years of experience working on diesel power/natural gas generators commercial HVAC, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage, along with reading and knowing schematics
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
