Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a General Maintenance Technician/Diesel Mechanic on Kaho'olawe, HI. This role covers routine to heavy repairs on gasoline and diesel vehicles, light equipment, RO desalination systems, solar power infrastructure, and facility systems.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in gasoline/diesel vehicle repairs and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on gasoline/diesel vehicles, light trucks, and heavy equipment.
• Maintain and repair RO desalination systems, pumps, and plumbing.
• Operate solar power systems and backup generators.
• Oversee fuel storage and distribution systems and water vessels.
• Perform facility maintenance across structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Adhere to environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Assemble and install equipment and fixtures for renovations or construction.
