Job summary

Travel Plaza Transportation, LLC is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair a diverse vehicle fleet on Oahu. The role requires strong mechanical expertise in diesel and electrical systems, with a valid Hawaii CDL B license and passenger endorsement.

You will perform field repairs and routine maintenance while documenting work and maintaining safety standards. The position is full-time and on-site, with a pay range of $28.00–$40.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; trade school preferred or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of mechanical experience in electronics, diesel, air brakes, and cooling systems.
• Valid Hawaii CDL B license with passenger endorsement.
• ASE certifications H4, H8, H5, H7, H6 or MCI equivalent training.
• Strong written and verbal communication; safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform inspections, diagnostics and repair of motorcoaches and service vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance and document time and labor hours.
• Replace, repair and overhaul electrical, hydraulic, cooling and drive systems.
• Conduct emergency field repairs and transport to job sites as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and keep work area safe and organized.
