Job summary

ESI Total Fuel Management is seeking an experienced Service Technician to support fuel system maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance for mission critical facilities and data centers. The role includes both shop and field work, with on-site service in Ashburn, VA.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of working independently in the field. 2–5 years' experience and a clean driving record are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a field technician or similar role.
• Clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school certification or associate degree.
• Ability to regularly lift 30–50 pounds.
• Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and multimeters.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and mechanical drawings.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in industrial environments, including heights or confined spaces when necessary.
• Team-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on diesel fuel filtration equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues related to fuel systems and fuel deliveries.
• Perform preventative maintenance and field repairs.
• Execute diesel fuel sampling in tanks following safety protocols.
• Read and interpret drawings, specs, and BOMs.
• Test and calibrate parts and systems.
• Complete QC checks and service documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and work area.
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site.
• Follow all safety procedures.
