Job summary

Republic Services in Sun Valley, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment. Under supervision, you will assist in keeping our fleet running smoothly as drivers complete their routes.

The role offers hands-on training, opportunities for growth, and a comprehensive benefits package. A valid driver's license is preferred, and prior maintenance experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid Driver’s License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repairs.
• Perform oil changes, fluids replenishment, light repairs, including tire changes and basic electrical work.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify issues and sources of malfunctions.
• Complete training programs and other duties as assigned.
