Job summary

Republic Services in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to support our diesel and non-diesel fleet with preventive maintenance and routine repairs. Under supervision from a Lead Technician or Maintenance Manager, you will work on state-of-the-art equipment to keep drivers on route and reduce downtime.

The role emphasizes basic knowledge of vehicle systems, adherence to SOPs, and opportunities for training in new technologies.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment.
• Conduct oil changes, fluid replenishment, tire changes and light repairs.
• Perform basic electrical work and visual inspections to identify issues.
• Complete required company training programs.
