Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group is seeking a skilled SVT Intermediate Fleet Technician in Escondido, CA to maintain and repair a diverse fleet. You’ll diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, using your automotive/diesel expertise while working under a lead technician.

This full-time, on-site role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (6:00 AM–3:30 PM), competitive hourly pay of $36–$38, and a benefits package including 401(k) with match and medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive/diesel technician.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC, and suspension.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose issues with diagnostic equipment and identify root causes.
• Repair or replace brakes, suspensions, exhausts, electrical and drivetrains.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with team and supervisor to resolve complex problems.
• Keep up to date with manufacturer recalls and warranty information.
