Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain our mixer trucks and heavy equipment in Texas. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and collaborate with operations to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification a plus.
• Experience or training in diesel engines or heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and plan repairs.
• Repair major components such as engine parts, starters, and transmissions.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repairs and schedule work with operations.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures on-site and in the workshop.
