Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain our fleet of mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and other heavy equipment. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose faults, and repair systems to keep operations on schedule and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Diesel certification or vocational training preferred.
• Experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on trucks and heavy equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and plan repairs.
• Rebuild or replace major components such as engines, starters, and transmissions.
• Collaborate with operations to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Maintain safety standards in workshop and on job sites.
