Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management, one of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S., seeks a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to repair and maintain our tractor and trailer equipment at our brand new Martin Brower shop in Enfield, CT.

Shift: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm. Pay: $35.00-40.00/hr based on experience. Benefits include PTO, holiday pay, 401K, health/dental/vision coverage, tool & boot allowance, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED with 3+ years of related experience.
• Must possess own tools.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record per DOT regulations.
• CDL (License A) highly desired; mandatory in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts).
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electric problems using diagnostic tech/software.
• Perform detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA and Reyes Fleet Management safety standards and use PPE properly.
• Some travel may be required.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.
