Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management is hiring a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A for our Gardena facility. The role supports repairing and maintaining diesel tractors and trailers, with a 2nd shift from 1:00PM to 9:30PM, Monday–Friday.

The position offers full-time employment with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits, including PTO, health/dental/vision, 401K, and potential incentives for ASE certifications and CDL status. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience.
• Must possess own tools.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR per DOT regulations to operate company vehicles.
• Valid CDL (License A) is highly desired; mandatory in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts).
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software when applicable.
• Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring safety practices.
