Job summary

Sysco is seeking technicians for fleet maintenance and preventive care of our fleet. You will inspect and repair tractors, trailers, and related equipment, ensuring safety, reliability, and cost efficiency through planned maintenance cycles.

Responsibilities include CFIA/annual inspections, electrical and mechanical repairs, and accurate documentation of work orders. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; ASE and 609 HVAC certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.
• Experience with medium/heavy duty truck maintenance or repair.
• Familiar with annual and brake inspection certifications; ASE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment to maximize safety and reliability.
• Conduct FAI/CVI inspections on fleet vehicles per regulatory requirements.
• Perform quality maintenance inspections and repairs per company methods.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Document work on WO and learn Sysco computer programs.
