Job summary

Sysco is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on our fleet of vehicles and equipment. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and cost efficiency throughout the fleet lifecycle, with work shifting to evenings.

The incumbent will conduct annual inspections, diagnose malfunctions, and document all work orders. A valid driver’s license and appropriate trade certifications are preferred; Sysco provides tools and ongoing training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with medium/heavy duty truck maintenance preferred.
• ASE and HVAC certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on fleet assets.
• Perform repairs to manufacturer specifications for engines, transmissions, and related systems.
• Document work performed on work orders and use Sysco computer programs.
