Job summary

RESOURCE TRANSPORT, LLC is seeking a Shop Supervisor to oversee maintenance and repair operations for our fleet. You will lead mechanics, ensure work quality, and maintain safety and reliability of diesel trucks and trailers.

Provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and manage daily workload. The role requires 5+ years in diesel/fleet maintenance, strong diagnostic skills, and proficiency with Fleetio and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in diesel, heavy equipment, or fleet maintenance.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Must wear PPE and maintain safety compliance.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and fleet software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Own basic mechanic tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise Fleet Mechanics.
• Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance and repair work.
• Review Work Orders for accuracy and Fleetio updates.
• Ensure maintenance complies with safety regulations.
• Maintain clear communication with leadership and vendors.
• Oversee shift changes and daily meetings.
