Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking an experienced technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units. You will document work orders, ensure compliance, and assist with road calls as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in fleet repair, with strong electrical troubleshooting and A/C refrigeration experience. This on-site role offers competitive pay and benefits from Day 1.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including PMs, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units).
• Inspect and repair brakes, steering, bearings and other components.
• Document work orders accurately in the online system; perform road calls as needed.
