Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is seeking an energetic Vehicle/Fleet Mechanic for our Cleveland, OH location. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers and tractors, and document work electronically to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, welding and electrical troubleshooting skills, and may hold a Class A CDL. We value teamwork, safety, and a proactive approach to daily operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Class A CDL preferred.
Strong mechanical background with above‑average computer skills.
Energetic, safety‑focused self‑starter.
Team player with solid work history.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers and tractors.
Document and record work performed electronically.
Perform road repairs when necessary.
Maintain cryogenic pumps.
Conduct electrical/electronic repairs and installations on tractors and trailers.
Calibrate pump discharge meters.
Perform minor welding and fabrication as required.
