Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is seeking an energetic Vehicle/Fleet Mechanic for our Cleveland, OH location. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers and tractors, and document work electronically to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, welding and electrical troubleshooting skills, and may hold a Class A CDL. We value teamwork, safety, and a proactive approach to daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL preferred.
• Strong mechanical background with above‑average computer skills.
• Energetic, safety‑focused self‑starter.
• Team player with solid work history.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers and tractors.
• Document and record work performed electronically.
• Perform road repairs when necessary.
• Maintain cryogenic pumps.
• Conduct electrical/electronic repairs and installations on tractors and trailers.
• Calibrate pump discharge meters.
• Perform minor welding and fabrication as required.

We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated, well‑organized, self‑starter with a strong commitment to safety—Vehicle/Fleet Mechanic—for our Cleveland, OH location. This mechanic should be a strong teammate who can work effectively with fellow mechanics, drivers, and operations personnel.

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers and tractors
• Document and record work performed electronically
• Perform road repairs when necessary
• Maintain cryogenic pumps
