Qualifications

• 2-year school and 1 year of experience or 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Annual Inspector Certification, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Brake Inspector Certification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• ASE certifications; Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks (Preferred, Not Required)
• 609 HVAC Certification

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment within planned time tolerances.
• Perform FAI/CVI inspections on fleet vehicles per legal/regulatory requirements.
• Perform quality maintenance repairs on tractors, trailers, lift-gates and other equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair to manufacturer specifications (engines, transmissions, electrical, braking, HVAC, etc.).
• Document all work on work orders.
• Learn Sysco computer programs and use diagnostic software.
• Operate electrical meters and test controls.
