Sysco in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to provide safe, reliable maintenance and repairs for our vehicle fleet. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and expert diagnosis to reduce downtime and improve fleet reliability.

Shift: 1st Shift, four 10-hour days, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM, Wed–Sat. Pay is $38.94/hour based on qualifications, plus a $600 annual boot/tool allowance and a sign-on bonus up to $7,500. Excellent benefits and growth potential available.

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2-year school and 1 year experience or 3 years fleet maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Follow procedures and document all work on work orders.
• Learn and develop efficiency in Sysco computer programs.
