Job summary

Performance Food Group in Victoria, TX is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician for the Sunday-Thursday 3rd shift (9:00pm–6:00am). You will perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with state and federal regulations.

You will document repairs in the online maintenance system, order parts, and handle road-call services as needed. The role requires 2+ years of repair experience, a high school diploma or GED, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PMs, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis and electronic repair.
• Experience with A/C refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance on fleet diesel equipment and perform basic repairs.
• Identify root causes of failures and perform repairs as required.
• Ensure equipment has required licensing and registration prior to roadworthiness.
• Document work orders and maintain records in the maintenance system.
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings and other critical components.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and battery checks.
• Respond to road calls as needed.
