Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Apprentice Fleet Technician to support inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on the fleet to reduce downtime and ensure safety.

This entry-level role offers hands-on learning under experienced technicians, requires CDL preferred and no prior experience, and includes a 3rd shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year truck/medium-heavy duty tech training preferred.
• Apprentice role with guidance from senior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Learn inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Assist with CVI/FAI inspections per regulations.
• Assist in repairs to maximize safety and reliability.
• Document work orders accurately.
• Develop efficiency in Sysco computer programs.
