Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to service a diverse fleet of mixer trucks and heavy equipment. Enjoy on-the-job training, routine maintenance, and hands-on repairs in a safety-focused shop environment.

CDL preferred, HS diploma required, and a strong understanding of diesel engines is expected. You'll collaborate with operations to minimize downtime, keep accurate maintenance records, and stay current with evolving diesel technology.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates welcome; on-the-job training available.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic/electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and plan repairs.
• Rebuild or replace major components as needed.
• Coordinate with operations to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Maintain safety standards in workshop and on sites.
