Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking two Diesel Mechanics to service our fleet of tractors, trailers, and MHE at our Martin Brower facility in Pompano Beach. The role requires owning tools, a valid license, and adherence to strict DOT/OSHA safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of related experience
• Must possess own tools
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record per DOT
• CDL License A is highly desired; mandatory in some locations
• Ability to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights over 50 lbs, occasionally over 100 lbs

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts)
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventive maintenance through the Enterprise Asset Management system
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electric problems using diagnostic technology/software when applicable
• Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA, Reyes safety standards and use appropriate tools, PPE and safeguards
• May require driving Reyes Family of Businesses vehicles; DOT file must be maintained; CDL holders will have DOT drug screening within 30 days of start
• Some travel may be required
• Other projects or duties as assigned
