Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to service diesel equipment within a US Foods maintenance facility. The role requires diagnosing, repairing and maintaining tractors, trailers, and related components, with strong safety practices and readiness to handle road calls as needed.

You will work Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–5:00 pm, with benefits including a retention bonus, medical coverage from day one, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• 3 years verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment repairs.
• Able to read/write and attend trainings; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and repair diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates).
• Perform preventative maintenance per DOT standards.
• Coordinate road calls and work with vendors/partners on action plans.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment per safety rules and regulations.
