Job summary
A leading environmental services firm is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment. This role involves routine maintenance, diagnostics, and contributing to the upkeep of the fleet. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of vehicle systems and possess skills for hands-on repairs. Qualifications
- Maintains a basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
- Completes applicable Company training programs.
- Experience with diesel or non-diesel equipment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues.
- Execute oil changes and tire changes, including basic electrical work.
Skills
Basic knowledge of vehicle systems
Ability to perform routine maintenance
Visual inspection skills
Education
Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM
Valid Driver’s License
