Job summary

Summit School Services LLC is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor with 5+ years in diesel/heavy/medium fleet shops. You will diagnose and repair, supervise staff, implement SOPs, and oversee the EAM ERP system to track work orders and parts.

Coordinate with driver care, route ops, and customer care while managing inventory and preventive maintenance. The role requires strong planning, budget awareness, and flexibility in schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fleet supervisor experience in a heavy/medium duty diesel shop.
• Minimum 5 years auto/truck or bus mechanical repair experience.
• DOT compliance experience for heavy vehicles.
• ASE Master Technician certification preferred.
• Must be computer proficient and skilled in diagnostics.
• Experience planning and scheduling maintenance repairs.
• Supervisory experience in purchasing and budgeting.
• Willing to work flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses malfunctions and performs vehicle repairs per procedures.
• Oversee local implementation of maintenance SOPs and staff compliance.
• Oversee the local use of the EAM ERP system and record work orders.
• Oversee parts inventory maintained and used in the facility.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and unscheduled repairs.
• Represent maintenance in coordination with driver care and ops.
• Supervise maintenance staff at the facility.
• Exhibits ethical practices and reports concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
