Job summary

AC Sweepers and Maintenance, Inc. is seeking an organized Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to support safety, reliability, and efficient operation of our vehicle fleet in Morrow, GA. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, inventory, vendor relations, fuel monitoring, and DOT compliance.

The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of diesel vehicles and experience coordinating fleet maintenance in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in fleet maintenance coordination or related field.
• Knowledge of diesel vehicle maintenance and DOT regulations.
• Experience coordinating preventive maintenance and repairs for commercial vehicles.
• Familiarity with fleet safety documentation and inspections.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for company vehicles and equipment (Fleetio).
• Coordinate service with mechanics, dealerships, tire providers, and vendors.
• Track mileage, inspections, registrations, and maintenance costs.
• Maintain inventory levels for parts, tires, and fluids in Fleetio.
• Monitor fuel consumption and propose efficiency improvements.
• Ensure DOT, emissions, and safety compliance for vehicles.
• Coordinate responses to accidents and breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Keep fleet records accurate and audit-ready.
• Analyze fleet performance and propose cost-reduction measures.
