Job summary

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. in Greer, SC seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee diesel maintenance operations and lead our maintenance technicians.

You will manage assets including commercial vehicles, trailers, yard switchers, forklifts, and GPS devices, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and optimal performance. This leadership role emphasizes team development, accurate record-keeping, and timely repairs, with a focus on DOT/OSHA standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in vehicle maintenance and 5+ years in a supervisory or maintenance management role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle computer systems, maintenance coordination, service writing, and inventory control.
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in coaching, performance reviews, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and Manage Maintenance Teams – supervise coordinators and technicians, oversee daily activities.
• Ensure Timely Maintenance & Repairs – oversee scheduled maintenance and repairs within timelines.
• Maintain Accurate Service Records – keep detailed electronic records for audits.
• Inventory Management – manage parts, tools, and equipment.
• Regulatory Compliance – ensure DOT and OSHA safety regulations are followed and DVIRs documented.
• Final Inspections & Work Order Management – conduct inspections and close out work orders in the system.
• Accident Investigations & Compliance – investigate incidents and ensure policy adherence.
• Emergency Repairs – coordinate maintenance responses for in-route vehicles.
• Administrative Oversight – manage scheduling, payroll submissions, and time-off requests.
• Regulatory & Environmental Compliance – stay current with EPA, DOT, and other requirements.
• Promote a Safe & Engaging Work Environment – foster teamwork and high performance.
• Quality Standards Compliance – adhere to C-TPAT, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 45001.
