Job summary

Parking and Transportation Group-Las Vegas (PATG-LV) is seeking a skilled Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair company vehicles, trailers, and traffic control equipment to ensure safe operation. You will support daily field operations by keeping equipment in top condition and compliant with safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years of mechanic experience, own tools, and a Nevada driver's license. ASE certification and forklift certification are preferred, with a strong focus on safety

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of mechanic experience (diesel, automotive, and/or heavy equipment preferred).
• Must provide own tools.
• Valid Nevada driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on company vehicles, including trucks, vans, UTVs, and trailers.
• Service traffic control equipment such as arrow boards, message boards, light towers, and generators.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Follow established schedules and procedures for preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Identify and document damaged or worn parts; order and install replacements as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and unexpected breakdowns.
• Complete repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Keep shop areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Coordinate with management to prioritize maintenance needs.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Collaborate across departments to support operations.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Attend required meetings and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
