PATG-LV is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Assistant to support inspection, maintenance, and repair of company vehicles, trailers, and traffic control equipment. You will help diagnose issues under supervision and follow preventive maintenance schedules.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, up to 1 year of mechanical experience, and a willingness to learn. Valid Nevada license and forklift certification are preferred.

• Assist with maintenance and repairs on company vehicles, including trucks, vans, UTVs, and trailers.
• Support servicing of traffic control equipment such as arrow boards, message boards, light towers, and generators.
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues under supervision.
• Follow established schedules and procedures for preventative maintenance.
• Help identify and document damaged or worn parts.
• Assist with ordering, organizing, and installing replacement parts.
• Support troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
• Assist in completing repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation as directed.
• Keep shop areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Assist with inventory management of parts, tools, and supplies.

Position Information:

With strong attention to detail, the Maintenance Mechanic Assistant supports the inspection, maintenance, and repair of company vehicles, trailers, and traffic control equipment. This role assists in ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable, and compliant while supporting daily field operations.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repairs on company vehicles, including trucks, vans, UTVs, and trailers.
• Support servicing of traffic control equipment such as arrow boards, message boards, light towers, and generators.
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues under supervision.
• Follow established schedules and procedures for preventative maintenance.
• Help identify and document damaged or worn parts.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• 1 year of mechanical or related experience preferred (automotive, diesel, or equipment).
