Job summary

Nebraska Ag Connection in Southeast Nebraska seeks a Resident Diesel Technician to repair CLAAS equipment in field, shop, or customer sites. Travel is frequent; a valid drivers license is required and you bring 3–5 years of field service experience and a diesel tech background.

The role includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical systems, using SIS to order parts, documenting labor and warranty reports, and maintaining professionalism while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a field service technician role, preferred.
• Diesel tech school degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Must provide personal tools for position.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and interpret parts and machine schematics.
• Willingness to travel region and work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• The Resident Service Technician repairs machines in the field, shop, or customer location to the customer's satisfaction.
• Troubleshoots and repairs CLAAS equipment including engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and HVAC.
• Uses SIS to order parts, research problems, and complete warranty reports.
• Maintains paperwork and service reports accurately.
